Not every game needs full teams, registered players and a league. Sometimes you just want to start scoring right now. Quick Matches let anyone create a match in seconds, score it ball by ball, and share a public link — while new editing tools make it safe to correct mistakes without losing the record.
Score in seconds, no account required
Create a Quick Match from the home screen, name the two sides, set overs and toss, and start scoring immediately. There is no team setup, player registration or login step in the way.
Each Quick Match gets its own shareable public link so friends, family and spectators can follow the score live from any device.
A PIN keeps you in control
- Every Quick Match is protected by a scorer PIN so only you can update the score.
- Spectators can view the live scorecard and commentary without the PIN.
- Lost your PIN or switched phones? Use PIN recovery to regain scoring access to your match.
- Your recent Quick Matches are easy to find again so you can resume scoring.
Full ball-by-ball scoring and two innings
Quick Matches use the same trusted scoring engine as regular matches: runs, extras, wickets, strike rotation and over completion all behave exactly as expected.
When the first innings ends, a guided second-innings setup sets the chase target and new striker, non-striker and bowler, so the run chase is scored cleanly from the first ball.
In-match editing you can trust
- Delivery correction lets you fix the most recent ball when a run, extra or wicket was entered incorrectly.
- Match totals, batter figures and bowler figures recalculate automatically after a correction.
- Reopen a completed match to make a legitimate fix, then complete it again — the result stays accurate.
- Edits are deliberate and scoped, so the scorecard stays reliable instead of silently changing.
Kept tidy automatically
Quick Matches are designed for fast, casual games, so they are retained for a limited time and then cleaned up automatically. This keeps the public match browser focused on active and recent games without any manual housekeeping.
