Clear team roles keep a squad organized. On ScoreBouncer you can mark one player as captain and one as vice-captain for each team, so their leadership is visible across the team page, squad lists, and match views.

What the roles mean

  • Captain: the designated leader of the team, shown with a "C" badge.
  • Vice-Captain: the deputy leader, shown with a "VC" badge.
  • Both roles appear on the team profile, in the squad, and in leadership highlights.

Assigning a captain or vice-captain

A team admin opens the team, edits a player, and marks them as captain or vice-captain. Each team can have one captain and one vice-captain at a time, so assigning a new one replaces the previous holder of that role.

Why it matters

Beyond recognition, clearly assigned roles make squads easier to read at a glance for scorers, opponents, and fans. It also keeps your team records tidy season after season.
